About

Born from the Right Hand - Obi Bags

Each bag is carefully crafted from traditional Japanese kimono obi, thoughtfully repurposed and sewn one by one.

They mirror the spirit of the artist, Machico, who lives with limited movement on one side of her body and continues to reconnect with society through her work.

An obi is a fabric shaped by straight lines ? a symbol of Japan’s refined textile culture.
Honoring its quiet strength and dignified beauty, each piece is formed into a clean, minimal silhouette without excess.
